Military Transition
Your Service Earned This. Let’s Make Sure It Shows.
Gabe Career’s Military Transition pack is free for verified veterans and active duty service members. It’s built specifically for the transition that most career tools ignore.
What It Does
Most career platforms treat military experience the same as any other job history. They don’t understand rank, MOS codes, or what leading a 40-person unit under combat conditions actually demonstrates. Gabe Career does.
The Military Transition pack unlocks a version of Gabe Career that’s been tuned for your background — one that knows how your service translates into federal job eligibility, GS grade credit, and civilian career language.
What You Get
Federal Job Eligibility Based on Your Service
The system evaluates your military experience against OPM qualification standards and calculates which GS grade levels you qualify for, including the military own-merits crediting path, which most veterans don’t know exists and most tools don’t support.
Veterans’ Preference Applied Automatically
Your veterans’ preference status is factored into your federal job targeting automatically. You don’t have to figure out which preference category applies to you.
A Federal Resume Built Around Your Service
Generate a compliant two-page federal resume that presents your military experience the way federal hiring managers and OPM standards expect to see it, not the way a generic resume builder would format it.
Career Intelligence That Speaks Your Language
When Gabe analyzes your career path and strengths, it understands what your rank, branch, and duties actually mean and translates them into terms that work in both federal and civilian job markets.
Who It’s For
- Veterans who have separated or are within 180 days of their separation date
- Active duty service members preparing for transition
- Guard and Reserve members with qualifying service
How Verification Works
Verification is fast and your personal information is never stored. When you activate the pack, you’ll enter your name, date of birth, and current address into a secure form. That information is sent directly to the VA’s verification system. We receive only a confirmed or not confirmed response — nothing else. If you’re active duty, you can verify using your .mil email address instead.
If the automated system can’t match your record — which sometimes happens if your address has changed since separation — you can upload your DD-214 for manual review instead.
